National Apprenticeship Week

Today marks the end of National Apprenticeship Week. At YPS, we’re very proud to have run a successful apprenticeship scheme for many years to develop the next generation of construction specialists.

A big shout out to our current apprentices…

Nathan is one of our carpentry apprentices, working at our Catterton site where we’ve just handed over three out of four plots. Nathan has been involved from the very beginning, seeing this project through to completion. He’s due to graduate in July!

Oliver (pictured with Rhys) is currently working on the renovation of our historic book shop project in central York. He’s worked extensively on an eco home we recently completed in Elvington. He’s also due to graduate this July.

Oli is our bricklaying apprentice and Angus is carpentry, they both joined us in August last year and have settled in really well. They’re currently working together on YPS’ bespoke new build dwelling in the Yorkshire Wolds.
